Summary :

The Front Desk Assistant Manager at Rosen Hotels & Resorts works closely with the Front Office staff to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the Front Desk, adhering to Company Standards. They are responsible for providing the front desk staff with ongoing coaching, training, and development. The Front Desk Assistant Manager will also prepare reports, handle special projects, and assist in various assignments as required.

Responsibilities :

  • Handle guest issues and prevent escalation.
  • Assure associates provide excellent, professional, and friendly service.
  • Brief agents on daily tasks and incoming groups.
  • Manage guest folios.
  • Supervise daily front desk operations.
  • Work at the desk when short-staffed or during breaks.
  • Monitor daily house counts, credit reports, and room occupancy.
  • Maximize room revenue and occupancy.
  • Room blocking and preparation for arriving groups.
  • Run and send daily operations reports.
  • Print in-house, departure, and arrival reports.
  • Train and cross-train front desk associates.
  • Coach, mentor, and motivate employees.
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings.
  • Evaluate staff job performance.
  • Create weekly department schedules.
  • Manage timecards and payroll, including missed punches and overtime.
  • Monitor and maintain payroll records.
  • Ensure daily checklists are completed promptly.
  • Manage and maintain cash bank over $4,000.
  • Monitor points system in Infor.
  • Maintain inventory for the office.
  • Work on daily logistics to optimize department performance.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain working relationships across departments.

Experience / Qualifications :

  • 2 years of customer service experience required.
  • 1 years of front desk experience required.
  • Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
  • Must be able to legally work in the USA.
  • Education and Certification(s) / License(s) :

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
