Summary:
The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of hotel guests, employees, and property. This role involves providing outstanding guest service while maintaining a safe environment in accordance with company standards. The Security Officer will enforce hotel policies, observe applicable laws, and identify potential dangers or distractions that could impact guests' enjoyment and safety.
- Monitor security cameras and conduct regular patrols to ensure the safety of the property.
- Enforce hotel policies and respond promptly to security issues and violations.
- Respond to guest and employee emergencies, providing assistance and coordinating with appropriate personnel.
- Assist with the implementation and execution of safety drills and training sessions for hotel staff.
- Accurately report incidents and maintain detailed security logs for record-keeping and review.
- Adhere to the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy, ensuring compliance at all times.
- All other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with guests and staff.
- Ability to remain calm and respond effectively in emergency situations.
- Familiarity with security systems, including surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
