What are the responsibilities and job description for the Swim Instructor position at Rosen Hotels & Resorts?
Summary:
As a Swim Instructor, you will provide skill-based swim and water safety instruction to individuals of all ages. Your primary responsibility is to ensure the safety of students through constant supervision while fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment. You will build cooperative relationships with parents and caregivers, promoting the potential of all students and facilitating meaningful peer-to-peer connections within the program.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver swim and water safety instruction to students of all ages.
- Maintain constant supervision to ensure the safety of all students.
- Foster positive, nurturing relationships with students.
- Build cooperative relationships with parents and caregivers.
- Promote the potential of all students within the program.

Facilitates peer-to-peer connections as part of the overall program experience.
- All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Swim Instructor or Lifeguard.
- Sound knowledge of proper swimming techniques and water safety rules.
- Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Preferred Certifications:
- American Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) OR Basic Swim Instructor (BSI) certifications.
- CPR certification
- First Aid certification
