What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing Assistant position at Rosen Publishing?
Fast-paced children's educational publisher seeks a full-time Sales and Marketing Assistant.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
~ Support the sales and marketing teams with other tasks as needed
~ Assist in executing marketing plans for lead titles and provide sales support as needed
~ Submit books for awards and reviews
~ Assist with seasonal sales and marketing functions and tasks including preparing tip sheets and sending out review copies
~ Assist with printing, assembling, and mailing of sales and marketing materials
~ Maintain/update office inventory
~ Perform research on assigned topics
~ Assist with writing sales and marketing copy
Qualified candidates will have:
~ Strong writing, communication, and proofreading skills
~ The ability to multitask and prioritize
~ 1 year of experience (internship ok) working in a professional setting
~ Eagerness to learn more about marketing and interest in the publishing industry
~ Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Communication/Advertising is preferred
