Position Summary

Programmer capable of maintaining and enhancing current business operating systems and applications. Ability to work with team members to develop and integrate business, production, and/or product applications/systems.

Essential Functions

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Applicant shall develop, test, document, implement, and support computer programming as required to automate repetitive business or production related tasks.
  • Input information from processes, output analysis of information, and interface heterogeneous business systems to act as a single unified solution, which may include both front end (user interface) and backend (server) implementations.
  • Assist other staff with operation and maintenance of business information systems throughout the enterprise.
  • Provide support or assistance with operation and maintenance of electronic production and manufacturing systems, including CNC or robotic manufacturing machines.
  • Providing support or assistance with development, documentation, implementation, or support of manufactured electronic systems (product).

Education, Experience & Physical Requirements

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience in C, C , C#, SQL, HTML, CANopen protocol, relational databases, Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Exchange, PowerShell, MAS 500, SolidWorks PDM, DriveWorks, CoDeSys, ADO.NET, Razor, and Blazor.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Ability to climb stairs and fire trucks

Knowledge, Skill, Abilities & Certification Requirements

PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE

  • General business operation experience including knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems, MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems, PDM (Product Data Management) systems, product configuration systems, etc.
  • Basic electrical/electronic theory

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position is in an office/general shop and sometimes outside, and it has access to all welfare facilities. In some cases, the temperature can be warmer or colder depending on the season. Most of the hazards come from machines but following proper procedures should minimize risk. This position will be exposed to the elements and will have to prepare themselves with the right equipment to ensure safety.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position requires sitting, standing and walking for the majority of the shift. During shifts, some projects require the use of feet, hands, and fingers for over 60 minutes at a time. Depending on the season, different protective apparel will be required. The use of knees, legs, back, shoulders, and arms can vary from 15 minutes to 60 minutes. This position requires reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling to complete job tasks. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, ability to adjust focus, and good depth perception. All positions require the ability to lift 50 pounds.
