POSITION SUMMARY
The Paint Buffer Technician will buff and polish the paint of the fire apparatus. The Paint Buffer Technician will be responsible for removing masking tape, paint runs, and other compounds on the body of the fire apparatus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Read the spec book to verify information on what the unit receives
- Clean and remove all masking tape for the fire truck apparatus.
- Dry and Wet sand the paint on the body of the fire apparatus.
- Scrape any paint runs.
- Buff and polish paint of the fire apparatus to meet a high visual standard.
- Wipe down trucks and remove compounds as needed to make the fire truck ready for customer inspection.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.
