POSITION SUMMARY
The Scheduler will develop, prepare, and maintain production schedules to guide the production activities and resources to ensure maximum efficiency is met to achieve output goals. The Scheduler will gather data from internal teams to incorporate materials, inventories, resource availability, and delivery commitments into a build schedule. They will be responsible for monitoring daily production results and revise scheduling based on changes in the flow of materials or other resources. The Scheduler will also assist the Project Management Team as needed to support departmental success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
All employees are required to support Rosenbauer's Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.
- Maintain production schedule for the Chassis Plant including creating, maintaining, and submitting the campus schedules.
- Attends cross-functional scheduling meetings to review status, update necessary team-members, and problem solve for areas of constraint, as needed.
- Assists in managing inventory targets including Raw, WIP, and FGs to support production requirements for on-time delivery.
- Communicate with Project Managers, dealers, and departments within Rosenbauer throughout the production of the fire apparatus.
- Converts Quote Writer files into various Excel sheets for other departments use.
- Checks for issues and give solutions for correction according to Quote Writer.
- Prepares files for the preconstruction processes.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the company.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES (KSAs): The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required to successfully perform the essential functions of the job.

Knowledge, Education, and/or Experience:
- Associate degree in Business Administration, Materials Management, Logistics/Supply Chain, or a similar field required.
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Materials Management, Logistics/Supply Chain, or a similar field preferred.
- APICS CPIM Certified, or in-process preferred.
- 1 years of sales or customer service experience required.
- 2 years of administrative support experience preferred.
- 3 years working in a Scheduler capacity preferred.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes preferred. Experience working in a low volume/high mix manufacturing environment preferred.
