POSITION SUMMARY
The Body Fabricator is responsible for the aluminum metal fabrication of multiple components of the fire apparatus’s body. They will precisely measure all dimensions and ensures they are positioned correctly. They must be able to read and follow blueprints/specifications to complete objectives. A Body fabricator welds, sands, cuts, and bolts materials to build the body of the fire apparatus.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

- Fabricates the aluminum body on the fire apparatus.
- Precisely measures all dimensions and ensures they are positioned correctly.
- Reads and follows blueprints and specifications to complete objectives.
- Welds, sands, cuts, and bolts materials to build the body of the fire apparatus.
- Checks the work of the blueprints and specifications to ensure that it will result in a workable product.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.
