POSITION SUMMARY
The Cab Electric Technician will run wire harnesses according to schematics. They will install interior trim and soft ceiling. Also, the Cab Line Assembler will crimp and connect wires and electrical components together and add switches as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
All employees are required to support Rosenbauer’s Mission, Vision, and Values. The following are the essential duties of this position and do not include marginal functions that are incidental to the performance of fundamental job duties. The scope and duties of a given position may change or be temporarily altered based on the business needs of Rosenbauer.
- Runs wire harnesses according to schematics.
- Removes and reinstalls the interior trim and soft ceiling.
- Crimps and connects wires and electrical components together.
- Install related equipment into the cab.
- Wires the air pumps, dash components, and fuse box to complete the electrical components within the cab.
- Routs A/C lines and installs vents in the applicable places.
- Install steps and illumination system along with other components on the floor of the cab apparatus.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by management to meet the needs of the organization and our members.
Tools to be utilized:
Hand tools, power tools, grinders, cut off wheels, and tape measure.
