What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paint Helper position at Rosenboom Machine & Tool Inc?
This is a 1st shift position.
$2,600 Sign on bonus
Responsibilities:
- Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, scraping, and cleaning as needed.
- Mix paint colors and additives according to specifications.
- Support painters
- Maintain and clean painting equipment
- Inspect painted surfaces for defects, perform touch-ups, and ensure quality standards are met.
- Follow safety protocols, including wearing protective gear and handling chemicals safely.
- Keep accurate records
- Assist with other tasks such as moving materials, organizing storage areas.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (minimum 50 lbs).
- Familiarity with painting tools and equipment.
- Attention to detail and strong work ethic.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks as needed.
