Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist with hiring, training, and development of store team members as delegated by the Store Manager.
- Perform various store functions and day-to-day activities as directed by the Store Manager.
- Execute opening and closing procedures in the absence of the Store Manager.
- Protect and secure all company assets, including store cash.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a professional environment.
- Maintain store appearance, including the stockroom and sales floor, to meet company standards.
- Direct supervisory responsibility for hourly Team Members when the Store Manager is absent.
- Process corporate directives from SSC.
- Assist with receiving and returning DSD merchandise.
- Manage freight flow and meet productivity standards.
- Assist with ordering and stocking merchandise needs.
- Maintain stockroom organization and ensure sales floors are effective daily.
- Prior retail and management experience preferred.
- Effective communication, interpersonal, and written skills required.
- Ability to lift 50lbs, work in a high-energy team environment, and adapt to flexible schedules.
