Job Title: Personal Care Aide (PCA)

Job Summary:
Roses Paradise Home Health Care is seeking dedicated Personal Care Aides (PCAs) to provide non-medical assistance to clients in their homes. This role requires professionalism, compassion, and a strong commitment to quality care.
Required Qualifications & Onboarding Process
All candidates must meet the following requirements to be considered for the position:
Onboarding & Compliance (Must Be Completed Within 10 Days of Notice):
- Onboarding Documents: Candidates must complete all DocuSign/E-Sign documents within 48 hours of receiving the request for signature.
- Background Check - Live Scan: Candidates must complete a Live Scan background check.
- TB Test & Physical Clearance: A TB test and physical exam from the last six months will be accepted. If older than six months, the candidate must obtain a new one within 10 days.
- CPR & First Aid Certification: Candidates must provide a valid copy of their CPR and First Aid certification. If expired or unavailable, they must obtain certification within 10 days.
- Social Security Card: A copy of a valid Social Security Card is required.
- Government-Issued ID: A valid driver’s license is required (state-issued ID will not be accepted).
- All Onboarding Documents: Must be completed and submitted within 10 days of notice. Candidates will be informed when the 10-day period begins.
Mandatory Training & Learning Center
- Roses Paradise Learning Center: All new hires must complete our in house training program before being assigned clients.
- APS Training (APS – Adult Protective Services): Required by the state of Nevada; all caregivers must complete this training before being assigned clients.
- Ongoing Annual Training: All caregivers will be required to re-complete courses in the Learning Center each year. The company will inform caregivers of the specific courses and hours required.
Additional Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Reliable transportation (must have a dependable way to reach client locations)
- Physical ability (must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, bend, stand, and walk for extended periods)
- Strong communication & documentation skills
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance, including walking, transferring, and positioning.
- Prepare and serve meals based on dietary needs.
- Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, sweeping, and changing linens.
- Provide medication reminders (per Nevada state regulations).
- Offer companionship and emotional support.
- Escort clients to medical appointments, errands, or recreational activities as needed.
- Monitor and report changes in client condition to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
