What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server/Bartender/Beverage Cart position at Roses Run Country Club?
Looking for a versatile employee with country club/restaurant experience to work on the course doing beverage cart, serving for our patio parties, and occasionally bartending. Ideal candidate is at least 21 years of age, but candidate must be at least 19 years of age. Position is seasonal until the beginning of October, but there are shifts to be picked up over our off season for the bar, banquets, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing excellent customer service
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Handle cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timeliness
- Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods
Skills:
- Strong math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills
- Experience with Shift4 POS or similar point-of-sale systems is preferred
- Knowledge of safe food handling practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent hospitality and customer service skills
- Sales skills to upsell menu items and promote specials
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff and other servers
- Strong communication skills for effective guest relations
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $12.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 35 per week
