About Us
Carver Road Hospitality now has two venues at the new Civilian Hotel in Hells Kitchen. The two floor, 150-seat Rosevale Kitchen & Cocktail Room, will feature a chef-driven & seasonally influenced menu prepared with regionally sourced ingredients. On the rooftop, Starchild will showcase spectacular sunset views to the post-work crowd along with a concise menu of creative small bites.
Position Summary
The Breakfast Attendant will be responsible for setting up the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization, replenishing food and beverage items, and providing outstanding customer service. Breakfast shifts are from 5:30AM 11AM.
We are currently looking to fill a seasonal/part time breakfast attendant position.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Preparing the room for breakfast; setting up bagel and pastry displays, and the hot food section.
- Working with the kitchen to make sure food is ready in a timely and efficient manner.
- Maintaining adequate levels of breakfast items and refilling when needed, brewing coffee and filing juices.
- Being friendly toward hotel guests and attending to them when needed.
- Monitoring the cleanliness of the breakfast area, including wiping down tables, chairs, and countertops, and clearing used dishes.
- Breaking down and cleaning up after breakfast.
- Keeping track of breakfast inventory.
- Anticipate and accommodate the needs of guests while providing professional and exceptional service to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Communicates the needs of the guests to Front-of-House and Back-of-House support staff, servers, managers, and chefs.
- Protects establishment, guests, and employees by adhering to Department of Health and Company sanitation standards.
- Reports all breakage, damage of equipment or furniture immediately to management.
- Attends and participates in daily pre-service meetings.
- Updates knowledge by participating in staff training opportunities.
- Maintain professional appearance standards as directed in the Employee Handbook.
Our Ideal Candidate:
- Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant/lounge.
- Must be able to stand, lift and bend for extended periods of time.
- Must be able to bend and lift to 50 lbs.
- Role may include job duties or tasks requiring repetitive motion.
- Exposure to hot kitchen elements or cleaning materials.
- Must be able to work and remain focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule inclusive of varying shifts such as days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
