Elementary Multilingual Learner/English Learner Teacher (1.0 FTE) - Harambee Elementary School - 2025-2026 School Year

Description: Roseville Area Schools has a vacancy for an elementary Multilingual Learner/English Learner teacher at Harambee Elementary. This is a 1.0 FTE position beginning August 25, 2025 for the 2025-26 school year. Harambee Elementary is currently a year-round school and will operate on this calendar for the 2025-26 school year. Starting with the 2026-27 school year, Harambee will follow the 9-month calendar.

Qualifications: A MN Teaching License in English as a Second Language (K-6) is required.

The candidate should also possess strong instructional skills centered in cultural responsiveness. Specific qualities include:

• Demonstrated commitment to developing lessons and instruction centered in racial and cultural equity
• Cross-cultural experience
• Strong ability to work with students and teachers around differentiating academic English instruction based on students' home language and English proficiency level
• Experience with multiple instructional designs and differentiated instruction with experience and understanding of the WIDA framework (including assessments)
• Ability to build relationships with students, families and staff
• Experience with working in collaboration with a variety of teams.

Compensation: Placement on salary scale is per teacher contract agreement according to education and years of teaching experience. Minimum full year, full time starting salary is $49,171, plus a district contribution toward health and dental insurance.
