Work Year /Hours:             Twelve Months – 8 hours daily; times will vary.

                                        Assignment to be determined *

Start Date:                        Immediately

Salary:                             $18.55 - $19.94 in 3 Steps

Qualifications (Evidence of qualifications must be on file by the closing date of posting)

1. High school graduate or GED equivalent.
2. Experience in the care of, operation, cleaning, and maintenance of school buildings.
3. Ability to communicate with custodians in his/her building.
4. Demonstrated ability to perform the routine cleaning and maintenance necessary in the building.
5. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
6. Must have a valid driver’s license.

Duties and Responsibilities

Assignments are based on district needs to replace absent employees or to provide extra help in the Buildings and Grounds Department.  Employees are expected to fulfill all duties and responsibilities of the respective assignment.

*Most shifts will be in the afternoons.
