Responsibilities
- Provide spiritual guidance and emotional support to patients, families, and staff during challenging times.
- Conduct individual and group counseling sessions focused on bereavement support and crisis management.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop holistic care plans that address spiritual needs.
- Facilitate worship services, prayer sessions, and memorial services as appropriate.
- Offer crisis intervention services to individuals facing acute emotional distress.
- Maintain accurate documentation of interactions and care provided.
- Engage in conflict management strategies to resolve disputes or tensions within the community.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance counseling skills.
Qualifications
- A degree in theology, divinity, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in hospice care or similar environments is highly desirable.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire trust and confidence in others.
- Proficient in written communication for documentation and reporting purposes.
- Ability to effectively communicate with diverse populations while demonstrating empathy and respect.
- Familiarity with crisis intervention techniques and conflict management strategies.
- A commitment to providing compassionate care rooted in Christian principles.
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

- Hospice: 1 year (Preferred)
