What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rehab Tech position at Rosewood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center?
REHAB TECH
Position responsibilities include:
Prepares and cleans equipment according to facility procedures
Assists Therapist with routine tasks as directed by the Therapist such as setting up equipment for a resident/patient activity treatment
Transports residents/patients to and from therapy for treatment
Sets up and delivers resident/patient schedules to nursing units
Follows the facility’s infection control policies (isolation, standard precautions, etc.); adheres to facility Hand Hygiene policy
Performs environmental/cleaning duties correctly and safely
Performs department clerical duties correctly and timely
Demonstrates awareness of the facility’s emergency procedures
Applicants with the following qualifications should apply for this position:
Physical Therapy Aide experience is preferred but not required
Caring and compassionate nature; the willingness to exceed resident/patient expectations
The adaptability and flexibility needed to work in a fast paced environment while maintaining a positive outlook
Detail oriented skills used to ensure that procedures are followed accurately and timely
The ability to take direction then work independently to complete assignments
Part time
Schedule is 8am to 1pm (schedule could always change)
