We are seeking a Direct Care Aide to provide compassionate care and assistance to individuals who require support with daily activities due to disabilities, injuries, or illnesses. The ideal candidate will be patient, empathetic, and dedicated to improving the quality of life for those in their care.
1. Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
2. Help individuals with mobility challenges to move around their home or facility.
3. Prepare meals and help clients with feeding, if necessary.
4. Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
5. Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
6. Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior.
7. Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
8. Assist with light housekeeping tasks.
1. High school diploma or equivalent required.
2. Proven experience in a similar role is advantageous.
3. Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred.
4. Ability to communicate effectively and compassionately.
5. Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
6. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move clients when necessary.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
