Responsibilities
- Develop and promote an Activities Program for Innovations Memory Care designed to promote the residents highest practicable level of engagement; providing varied activities in all required domains of well-being including social, physical, intellectual, and recreational activities in a planned, coordinated, and structured manner.
- Preparation of monthly Innovations Memory Care activity calendar within the guidelines and timeframes specified in the company standards and state regulations.
- Conduct and provide daily group activities to the residents of Innovations.
- Collaborate with Director of Innovations Memory Care to engage Innovations Team Members in the provision of activities to residents as scheduled.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent, GED
- Experience working with persons living with dementia is required.
- Prior experience in Activities or Therapeutic Recreation preferred.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly.
- Neat appearance, adherence to the dress code, and good personal hygiene are expected.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
