Responsibilities:

Design and implement a comprehensive Activities Program for Innovations Memory Care that encourages residents to achieve their highest level of engagement. Ensure the program includes a variety of activities across key well-being areas: social, physical, intellectual, and recreational, all delivered in a structured and coordinated manner.

Prepare and distribute the monthly activity calendar for Innovations Memory Care, adhering to company standards and state regulations, and under the guidance of the Director of Activities.

Lead and facilitate daily group activities for residents of Innovations Memory Care, ensuring a vibrant and stimulating environment.

Work closely with the Director of Innovations Memory Care to engage team members in delivering scheduled activities, fostering collaboration in providing enriching experiences for the residents.
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent, GED
- Experience working with persons living with dementia is required.
- Prior experience in Activities or Therapeutic Recreation preferred.
- Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
- Patience, tact, enthusiasm, and positive attitude toward the elderly.
- Neat appearance, adherence to the dress code, and good personal hygiene are expected.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- Must be available to work from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM on weekdays, with rotating weekend shifts.
