Responsibilities
- Ensures the digital technology platform is actively used and complies with EE credentials.
- Manage the complex process of verifying and maintaining healthcare professionals' qualifications and certifications.
- Strong attention to detail is paramount, as the role involves meticulously reviewing and validating credentials such as licenses, education, and certifications.
- Exceptional organizational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records and tracking expiration dates.
- Keep track of employee credentials that are current or are expiring soon, and provide updates to the relevant parties.
- Recommend policies and procedures for credentialing to ensure smooth functioning of the process.
- Continuously improve the flow of onboarding and credentialing for new hires and employees.
- Research the qualifications of candidates for certificates.
- Handle employee and client inquiries and complaints related to credentialing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Excellent decision-making skills with the ability to assess multiple options and to identify the best choice to serve a specified goal.

- Ability to maintain and manage vendor relationships
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
- Associate's Degree
- Working knowledge of general office equipment
- Desire to be proactive and create a positive experience for others
- Employee (clinician, technologist, etc.) credentialing/privilege experience, hospital environment, health insurance or managed care
- Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS, credentialing platform, and talent
- Customer/client servicing experience
- Preferred: Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) OR Certified Professional Medical Services Management (CPMSM)
