Job Description
The Electrical Designer/Drafter will be responsible for designing and drafting electrical systems for various project types, including K-12 schools and higher education facilities. This involves collaborating with senior engineers to develop and implement design concepts, ensuring designs meet relevant codes and standards, and communicating effectively with project stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns.
Responsibilities
- Perform all electrical design and drafting responsibilities from conception to completion under the supervision of a Senior Electrical Engineer, PE;
- Develop and implement design concepts in collaboration with senior engineers;
- Ensure designs meet relevant codes and standards;
- Communicate effectively with project stakeholders to resolve any issues or concerns;
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
- 2 years of experience in electrical design and drafting;
- Proficiency in CAD software, such as AutoCAD or Revit;
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and standards;
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
