What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Maintenance position at Rosina Food Products?
Responsibilities:
- Perform all aspects of building and grounds maintenance, including painting, flooring, drywall repairs, plumbing, and basic electrical work.
- Operate forklifts and work at heights as needed.
- Maintain HVAC systems and ensure proper facility heating and cooling.
- Use CMMS and other computer programs to track maintenance tasks and communicate with other departments.
- Conduct snow removal operations using snowplows, salt trucks, and loaders (requires a valid driver’s license).
- Perform landscaping duties and operate power tools for maintenance tasks.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, USDA, GMP, HACCP, and company safety regulations.
- Work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of experience in building maintenance, electrical, plumbing, or construction.
- Ability to read blueprints and use small and large power tools.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of maintenance tracking systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in various environmental conditions.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to wet/humid conditions, extreme temperatures, and moving mechanical parts.
- Loud noise levels and potential work in confined spaces.
