- Support the Corporate Quality and Food Safety Management System (QFSMS) by managing document control, quality records, and HACCP programs.
- Assist in maintaining compliance with GFSI, USDA, FDA, and customer regulations, while documenting policies and procedures.
- Conduct internal audits and participate as both an auditor and auditee, ensuring prompt follow-up on non-conformities.
- Organize monthly HACCP meetings and oversee HACCP program compliance.
- Assist in 3rd-party audits and maintain accurate records for department reporting.
- Collaborate with the IT team to enhance document management systems.
- Manage supplier and co-packer documentation to ensure compliance with food safety requirements.
- Associate degree in Food Science, Quality Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience (5-7 years in a technical role).
- Experience with HACCP, GMPs, and BRC, SQF, or ISO systems; food manufacturing experience preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective cross-departmental collaboration.
- Familiarity with USDA, FDA, and food labeling regulations is an advantage.
- This position requires periods of standing, sitting, and occasional lifting (up to 35 lbs).
