Rosina Food Products, Inc. is a leading food manufacturer committed to quality and innovation. We are seeking a Regulatory Compliance Specialist to join our Regulatory team and support our compliance and food safety initiatives.
Job Summary :
As a Regulatory Compliance Specialist , you will assist in developing and maintaining regulatory programs, ensuring compliance with USDA, FDA, and other food safety regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to maintain documentation, manage compliance systems, and support product development.
Key Responsibilities :
Develop a strong understanding of company food safety, quality, and product development systems.
Maintain compliance with Global Food Safety Initiative (BRCGS), USDA, FDA, and customer regulations.
Manage and support company food safety software and ERP systems.
Assist with supplier and co-packer quality documentation.
Generate reports on regulatory trends, compliance data, and audit findings.
Support internal audits and participate in third-party audits.
Assist in USDA label approvals and product specification development.
Qualifications :
Associate degree in food science, business, or a related field.
7-10 years of experience in a technical role within a food manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with USDA, FDA, and food labeling laws.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in compliance and food safety software systems.
