What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Payable Clerk position at Rosina Food Products?
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following :
EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE
Position requires an Associate's Degree in Accounting, Business, or other appropriate major and a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in a role requiring similar responsibilities. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable. Candidate should be comfortable with a fast-paced environment.
HARD SKILLS
The individual should possess a combination of the following skills :
- General computer navigation skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (particularly Excel, Outlook and Teams) and Adobe PDF
- Familiarity with computer-based accounting systems. Experience with Sage X3 a plus
- Familiarity with basic accounting concepts including but not limited to general ledger accounts and their functionality in financial reporting
Individual needs to possess the ability to respond effectively to most internal inquiries or requests for information regarding responsibilities. Candidate will be required to be professional and effectively work with all departments and Associates within the Company. Candidate will be required to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
