Quality Line Inspector / 2nd or 3rd shift

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure raw materials, packaging, and finished products comply with established quality standards.
• Perform internal audits and facility inspections following BRC (British Retail Consortium) standards.
• Review and audit documentation related to food safety and quality programs.
• Investigate and follow up on product quality issues, including customer complaints.
• Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure compliance with USDA, FDA, and other regulatory bodies.
• Train new associates in quality assurance processes and pre-operational inspections.
• Address and resolve food safety or product quality concerns in coordination with supervisors.
• Assist in collecting environmental and product samples for testing.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required; six months of relevant experience or training in quality assurance preferred.
• HACCP certification is a plus, with the expectation of receiving HACCP training if not already certified.
• Strong understanding of GMPs, HACCP, and BRC standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform internal audits and handle documentation reviews.
• Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and reach frequently.
• Must regularly lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Frequent exposure to wet, humid, hot, cold conditions, and mechanical equipment.

Work Environment:

• Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with exposure to extreme temperatures and loud noise levels.
• Regularly work in areas with moving mechanical parts and potential safety hazards, requiring attention to safe work practices.

Salary Range: $18.62-$23.01 per hour depending on experience

3 Opportunities available:

Tuesday-Saturday 4pm-12:30am

Tuesday-Saturday 10pm-6:30am

Monday-Saturday (days flex) 3pm-11:30pm
