Key Responsibilities:
The Shipping Coordinator will manage the flow of truck traffic in and out of the property, as well as organize the flow of orders to picked by the warehouse. This individual will use customer service skills to function as the primary contact for truck traffic when they arrive, and organizational skills to manage the flow of work in the warehouse. Responsibilities also include Liquid bulk tanker unloading.
The Bulk Shipping Coordinator will:
- Assists Supervisor in assigning loads, providing paperwork and accurate processing
- Releases order to be picked and finalize shipping documents for warehouse orders
- Primary point of contact for incoming and outgoing truck traffic (truck drivers, carriers, and dispatchers)
- Utilize proprietary software to check in/out and record incoming and outgoing trucks
- Finalize and completes the billing process of outbound orders, including applying seals
- Communicate with cross-functional teams with quality holds, product traceability, rework, OS&D’s
- Communicate with prior shift to get complete rundown of expected workload as well as communication with incoming shift Coordinator for proper hand-off
- Utilize Yardview to inbound, outbound, and move trailers
- Perform yard checks, monitoring accuracy of system
- Inform carriers of rejected and damaged trailers, follows up through corrective action

Required and Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to work in a heated tanker bay for up to 30 mins at a time where temperatures can be between 110-115 degrees
- Must be able to climb & walk on top of tanker trailers with an assisted harness to “scrape” the trailers empty
- Detail oriented and must be willing to learn and enforce all processes and procedures
- Experience with or willingness to learn operating a forklift with attachments (push-pull, clamp, etc)
