CNC Mill Operator
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Mill Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines according to blueprints, specifications, and work orders.
- Load raw materials, secure workpieces, and ensure proper alignment.
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from specifications.
- Use precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure part accuracy.
- Adjust machine settings, tool offsets, and speeds to optimize production efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and minor repairs on CNC machines.
- Troubleshoot machine errors and communicate issues to the maintenance team.
- Maintain accurate production records and follow safety protocols.
- Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and quality control to improve processes.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience as a CNC Mill Operator or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions.
- Knowledge of G-code, M-code, and CNC programming is a plus.
- Ability to use precision measuring instruments and perform quality checks.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lift up to 80lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
Education & Experience:
- CNC machining certification or vocational training preferred.
