We are seeking an offsite Controller for our Ferrari Dealership
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual that specializes in CDK software to fill our Controller position. You will be working from our home office, responsible for managing and overseeing all financial operations of the dealership, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a similar role, with a strong background in finance, accounting, and dealership operations.
Responsibilities and duties include the following:
- Manage and oversee all financial operations of the dealership, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts to provide insight into the dealership's financial performance.
- Review and approve wires and vehicle sales transactions as well as oversee and approve AR/AP activities.
- Manage the dealership's daily cash flow and banking activities as well as banking relationships to ensure optimal cash management and financial stability.
- Ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported in a timely manner, in accordance with accounting standards and dealership polices.
- Coordinate with senior leadership team and other departments to develop and implement strategies for improving financial performance and profitability.
- Supervise and manage the accounting team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure that all tax filings (corporate and indirect tax) and other regulatory reporting requirements are completed accurately and on time.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure optimal stocking levels and profitability.
- Provide financial analysis and support for dealership management, including ad hoc reports and analysis as needed.
- Oversee payroll and confidential employee records and assist with onboarding and HR matters as needed.
- Manage relationship with external auditors and consultants.
- CDK and Ceridian knowledge is a requirement
- Experience with Microsoft Office Products (Excel/Word)
