Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Stocking Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels, ensuring products are stocked and organized, and providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in inventory control and management, as well as a strong ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently stock shelves and displays with merchandise to ensure product availability for customers.
- Expedites newly received merchandise receipts to the sales floor with a sense of urgency, merchandising all items per company best practice to the monthly presentation guidelines and maintaining merchandise/brand name familiarity within departments to assist Customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the stockroom and sales floor to create a welcoming shopping environment.
- Assist customers with inquiries regarding product availability and location within the store.
- Perform heavy lifting tasks as required, ensuring safe handling of products at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency to efficiently perform their role. Maximizes productivity by executing all Store best practices and minimizing steps and touches in their work flow
- Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to the Company's dress code at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience in retail sales or stocking preferred but not required.
- Strong knowledge of inventory control and management practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 pounds) as needed.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the Store.
- Ability to regularly bend at the waist, squat, kneel, climb, carry, reach, and stoop.
