PT Nursing Instructor
RN(BSN) NEEDED FOR NURSING INSTRUCTOR
This instructor will teach clinicals/labs - Part Time - M-F - Day Classes - in person at Campus.
We are recruiting Registered Nurses (RN) (BSN) interested in sharing their medical nursing expertise with the next generation in the classroom and at clinical sites.
Ross is a growing nursing school, with future new location and leadership opportunities.
Daytime hours and part time, with month to month scheduling. We will provide you with complete training in our curriculum and standards to ensure that you will be fully prepared for your new teaching role. We have experienced mentors to help you get started.
Our smaller class sizes mean you get more 1:1 time with students and make real classroom connections.
You will instruct students in the Ross curriculum, review lesson plans and prepare for class instruction, grade and electronically record assignments, actively promote student retention, support externship activities as applicable, and perform related work as required. Nursing faculty Primary Instructors accurately record grades, successful completion of proficiencies and attendance by entering information in campus management software
PT Nursing Instructor
Requirements for an RN Instructor:
- Completion of an approved registered nursing education program, BSN or higher
- Two or more years in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse providing direct patient care
- Current, valid licensure as a registered nurse in Ohio Daytime availability
- Must be able to teach at the campus and off site clinicals
- Adhere to Ross Code of Conduct and Professional Ethics
