ONLINE PHARMACY TECHNICIAN INSTRUCTOR PART TIME
Tentative Schedule 11-4:30, 16.5-22hours/week - 3-4 days/week
Pharmacy Technician Instructors help take care of students through their lifecycle with Ross!
Pharm Tech Instructor duties include:
We are looking for experienced online instructors for hybrid and full online students in our PHT programs.
- Working with students on achieving a certificate/diploma and/or Associate Degree.
- Use Ross curriculum, supplemented with your own work/life experiences and medical knowledge.
- You will have regular communication and interaction with your students through your comments and discussions.
- This is an active and supportive online environment for students, so you will need to allow enough time each week to communicate promptly with students and other staff.
- Training and "ramp up" hours are provided.
Requirements
- Prior teaching experience teaching online using a contemporary LMS or as an online student using Canvas
- 3 years recent experience in the medical field in which you will be teaching and formal training from an accredited institution. Must be able to obtain a national certification as Pharmacy Technician. Individuals without a formal education, must have with a minimum of 5 years recent experience working in the medical field in which you will be teaching and a national certification. Additional requirements or exceptions may be applicable based on the state, program, and accreditation requirements. No prior teaching experience required.
- Must supply own equipment and have reliable high speed internet access
- Must live/work in a state where Ross already does business or has employees (MI, OH, IN, KY, TN, WV, IA, NM, FL, GA, AZ, AL)
- Strongly Preferred: Ross Graduate or former Ross Instructor
