Job Summary
The Apartment Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of an low income apartment community. This role involves ensuring tenant satisfaction, managing property maintenance, and maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while effectively managing the property’s administrative tasks.
Duties

- Manage tenant relations by addressing inquiries, concerns, and conflicts in a professional manner.
- Oversee property maintenance and ensure that facilities are well-kept and meet safety standards.
- Coordinate leasing activities, including tenant screening, lease agreements, and move-in/move-out processes in accordance with the tenant selection plan.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant information, contracts, and property documentation using Yardi.
- Conduct regular inspections of the property to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for repairs, renovations, and other facility management tasks.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants and retain existing ones.
- Assist in preparing annual budget.
Requirements
- Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to manage conflicts effectively.
- Familiarity with affordable housing.
- Knowledge of property maintenance practices.
- Proficient in data entry and administrative tasks.
- Experience using quick books and Yardi Voyager.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $46,500.00 - $52,000.00 per year
