Retail Safety and Security Professional

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retail Safety and Security Professional. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our stores, including monitoring Code 50 package inspection policy and identifying potential theft indicators.

You will also partner with store leadership to develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies, minimizing operational shortage and promoting a culture of safety and security within the store. This may involve conducting risk assessments, analyzing data, and implementing process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in loss prevention, excellent communication skills, and a proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor store entrances and exits to prevent theft and fraud.
• Identify potential theft indicators and report them to store leadership.
• Participate in Code 50 package inspection policy and other loss prevention initiatives.
• Develop and implement effective loss prevention strategies with store leadership.
• Collaborate with store team members to promote a culture of safety and security.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree preferred.
• Minimum one year retail management experience or equivalent preferred.
• Active Security Guard License highly desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain relationships with store team members and external partners.
