Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Sales Associate to join our team at Ross Stores. As a Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and working collaboratively with the sales floor team to achieve sales goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure customers have a positive shopping experience by greeting them promptly, answering questions, and making product recommendations.
- Maintain a high level of knowledge about products, including features, benefits, and pricing information.
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card transactions, and other payment methods.
- Process returns and exchanges in a fair and efficient manner, while ensuring that customers leave the store satisfied.
- Participate in visual merchandising efforts, including setting up displays and replenishing inventory as needed.
- Collaborate with the sales floor team to achieve sales goals, including identifying opportunities to increase sales and improving customer engagement.
Requirements:
- You must be 18 years or older.
- You must be able to stand for long periods of time and move freely throughout the store.
- You must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and push/pull heavy carts.
- You must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- You must be able to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
