Talent Acquisition Coordinator

About this opportunity...

The TA Coordinator supports the College and Early Career Recruiting functions for the New York and Los Angeles Buying Office's for Ross Stores and dd's Discounts. Responsible for coordinating all interview activities, providing excellent customer service to candidates, and hiring managers and ensuring flawless execution. Act as a key resource in capturing and reporting recruitment metrics. Research and compile information to support recruitment projects.

The base pay rate range for this role is $22.00 - $28.00/hour. The base pay rate range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location.

What you will do and what you will learn...

• Coordinate and communicate all scheduling of interviews for internship and early career candidates

• Work with recruitment team on scheduling all interviews either via teams or onsite

• Update the recruitment database with candidate progress, potential candidates and networking resources

• Actively participate in organizing the new hire process, including but not limited to the creation of requisitions in the applicant tracking system, initiating background checks, processing new hire paperwork and internal communication to ensure new hires have seamless first day

• Ensure all candidates have a high-touch, candidate-centric interviewing experience by anticipating their needs while scheduling and communicating regularly and proactively

• Weekly staffing report updates and distribution.

• Weekly internal retail newsletter creation and distribution.

• Assist with social media postings related to career opportunities.

• Perform other job duties and projects as assigned.

What you need to be successful...

• Bachelor's degree required

• 0-2 years of related professional experience

• Proficiency at an intermediate level in Microsoft Office

• Exceptional problem solving skills

• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment

• Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines

• Demonstrated ability to organize high volume of detail

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment ensuring a high quality of work

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of all reports and compensation information
