Position Overview:

As our Customer Service Representative, you'll be the vital bridge between our expert arborist team, field teams, and our valued clients. This role demands someone who takes pride in their work, demonstrates unwavering professionalism, and understands that every interaction is an opportunity to reinforce our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our clients, delivering communication that reflects our commitment to exceptional service
  • Guide customers through their entire journey, maintaining clear communication and providing the right level of support from start to finish
  • Collaborate with our sales arborists and field teams to ensure seamless service delivery and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain detailed records and coordinate scheduling with precision and attention to detail
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential challenges before they impact our clients
  • Handle procurement responsibilities including ordering supplies, managing inventory, and coordinating purchasing needs for field teams and department managers
  • Participate in ongoing training to stay current with industry best practices and company procedures
  • Contribute to team success by sharing insights and supporting colleagues
  • Display consistent flexibility and willingness to take on diverse responsibilities in our dynamic small business environment, adapting quickly to changing needs and priorities
  • Create, maintain, and effectively communicate process documentation across teams and departments, ensuring operational consistency and supporting company-wide training and improvement initiatives

What We're Looking For:

  • A proven track record of at least 2 years in customer service, demonstrating reliability and professionalism
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients
  • A growth mindset and eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges
  • Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software, with a willingness to master new technologies
  • Experience with dispatching or scheduling using a CRM software is preferred, but not a requirement.
  • Experience in the green industry or trade business is valued but not required

This is an in-person position based at our Falls Church, VA location. Remote work is not available for this role due to the hands-on nature of our business and the need for direct collaboration with our field teams and clients.
