We currently have an opening for an Industrial Maintenance Tech to join our team working from our Leola, PA location.
Job Description
The successful candidate will be working in our maintenance department, supporting our production floor by maintaining and servicing the equipment and machines used day-to-day to meet production goals, including : troubleshooting equipment failures, routine and emergency mechanical, hydraulic / pneumatic and electrical maintenance.
Essential Functions
- Cover all emergency breakdowns and repairs in a timely manner.
- Report problems with equipment, leaks, and other deficiencies and act as needed.
- Perform preventative maintenance tasks in accordance with the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Troubleshoots and repairs 3-phase motors up to 480v.
- Utilizes testing equipment including multi-meters.
- Electrical background preferred.
- Familiar with 480vAC,120vAC, 24vDC and 4-20mA systems.
- Have a basic understanding of pneumatics.
- Assess the operational state of equipment, filters, oil, hydraulics, compressors, motors, pumps, plumbing, and electrical systems and determine the course of action if needed.
- Ability to complete routine assignments without direct supervision.
- Maintain housekeeping standards.
- Self-motivated and experienced working in a manufacturing facility or similar environment.
- Ability to work safely following all safety rules and regulations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
