POSITION:

School Counselor SUBSTITUTE (through the end of the 24-25 school year)

{Please note, this vacancy is due to a pending resignation.  This fulltime position will also be posted for the 2025-2026 school year.}

SALARY:  $125 per day

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Valid and appropriate State of Ohio K-12 School Counselor License
• Master's degree in School Counseling or related field
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Genuine desire to support efforts to achieve the district vison: Preparing, inspiring, and empowering all students to achieve success

DUTIES:

• Provides counseling and guidance services to high school students
• Facilitates small groups to support the academic, social and emotional needs of students
• Works with students to develop goals related to post-secondary education, employment, and enlistment
• Maintains accurate records to montior progress toward graduation requirements and seals
• Actively participate in appropriate meetings and committees such as Multi-Tier Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavior Intervention and Support (PBIS)
• Effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders
• Serve as a role model for students in how to conduct themselves as responsible citizens
• Fulfill responsibilities as outlined in applicable job description(s), including other duties as assigned by the Principal or Superintendent of Schools
