Commercial / Industrial Journeyman Electrician – Service Division

  • Location : Portland, OR
  • Salary : up to $55 / hour (based on experience & license)
  • Experience : Journeyman Electrician with Commercial / Industrial experience
  • Availability : Full-time, on-call service opportunities available

About the Role

A great opportunity for a mid senior level Commercial / Industrial Journeyman Electrician to join a growing stable company in Portland, OR.   • All work is commercial / industrial – NO residential
  • Projects range from private to prevailing wage work
  • Scope of work can be tailored to career interests as the company grows

    • Responsibilities

  • Install and repair electrical systems related to HVAC and plumbing (minimal thermostat wiring)
  • Install and repair control & distribution apparatus , including :

    • Motors, VFDs, starters, relays, switches, thermostats, circuit breaker panels

  • Diagnose and resolve electrical circuit and system issues
  • Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduits
  • Complete service work orders for commercial and industrial customers
  • Select materials and hardware, and prepare time & material estimates
  • Provide on-call service support as needed (with compensation)

    • Requirements

  • Washington Journeyman Electrical License (Preferred)
  • Oregon Electrical License (Highly Desired)
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
