A great Commercial HVAC / Controls Tech opening for a mid career tech open to a new opportunity. We are looking for seasoned technicians with expertise in commercial heating, air, and controls systems. This is a full-time position with opportunities for overtime during the busy season. You'll be dispatched from home for local travel.
Responsibilities :
Execute service work completion as directed by dispatcher, with paid travel up to 2-3 hours daily, and return home at night.Efficiently manage company-assigned vehicle and tools.Utilize service platform applications for work orders, time tracking, and reports.Perform various job site duties effectively, including troubleshooting of RTUs, air-cooled split systems, rooftop units, VRF / VRV, water source heat pumps, cooling towers, boilers, water heaters, DDC controls, low voltage controls, and EMS systems, as well as part replacement, maintenance tasks, and pipe brazing while adhering to safety policies.Maintain a safe work environment for all personnel on the job site.Conduct oneself in a professional and ethical manner in all tasks.Dedicate efforts to maintaining the highest level of workmanship at every level, both individually and as a team.Requirements :
Troubleshoot and maintain package units, pump towers, and cooling tower control systems.Mechanical skills required to work on a variety of complex HVAC systems including fans, compressors, motor bearings, refrigeration circuits, burner setup, and heat wheels.Must have current OSHA 10 Training.Comfortable working around 5-ton to 200-ton package rooftop units.Moderate PC skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.Ability to lift and move 75 lbs.Have hand tools.5 years of experience working with commercial HVAC systems, controls, startup, and refrigeration.Experience with refrigeration equipment, wiring, schematics, and low voltage controls, and packaged HVAC equipment.Universal EPA certified.Journeyman HVAC preferred but not required.Clean driving record.This Job Is :
