About the Role
A mid to senior career Journeyman Plumber looking for a growth opportunity and great benefits in the Richland Tri-Cities area. This role involves new construction plumbing, including standard plumbing, hydronic systems, and mechanical equipment.
- Read blueprints and technical documents to assess building needs and plumbing layouts
- Work with contractors and clients to plan and install plumbing systems
- Install, assemble, maintain, and repair pipes and plumbing fixtures
- Modify pipes by cutting, threading, and bending using specialized tools
- Secure piping with clamps, screws, brazing, soldering, and welding
- Install boilers, water heaters, toilets, sinks, and other plumbing fixtures
- Diagnose plumbing issues and perform repairs or replacements
- Locate and repair water line leaks
- Perform pressure tests to ensure systems are airtight and watertight
- Train new apprentices in plumbing techniques and best practices
- Create work reports and maintain project documentation
- Ensure all work adheres to state laws, local building codes, and regulations
Requirements
- Washington and/or Oregon Journeyman Plumber License (preferred)
- Experience in new construction plumbing, hydronic systems, and mechanical equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Proficient in pipe fitting, welding, soldering, and fixture installation
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift & move 75 lbs and work in various environments
