- Job Summary - Activities Director :
- Responsibilities :
- I mplement the activities program.
- Creating a recuring and exciting activities schedule
- Leading one-on-one activities for bed-bound residents.
- Assisting residents with distributing and engaging in craft activities.
- Completing necessary forms, reports, and progress notes accurately.
- Identifying and addressing residents' spiritual, social, recreational, and emotional needs through routine interactions.
- Requirements :
- State approved Activities Director, completed the 36-hour training course or Certified Recreation Therapist or a Degree in exercise physiology
- A warm and caring personality.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Experience working with the elderly population.
