Incumbents will be engaged in trainee duties that may lead to the full performance of an Infection Control Coordinator I.
The pay range for this position is $32.10- $40.82 hourly which includes an a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. The actual offer may vary based on qualifications, skills, and experience. **Qualifications:** Required Education and Experience:
- Masters degree in a health-related field; or
- Bachelor's degree in a health-related field and the equivalent of one (1) year of full-time registered nursing experience requiring hands-on knowledge of infectious disease prevention and control procedures; or
- Bachelor's degree and the equivalent of two (2) years of full-time experience with infectious disease prevention and control; or
- Associates degree in a health-related field and the equivalent of three (3) years of full-time registered nursing experience requiring hands-on knowledge of infectious disease prevention and control; or
- Associate's degree and the equivalent of four (4) years of full-time experience with infectious disease prevention and control.
- Incumbents must obtain certification by the National Certification of Infection Control or an equivalent national certification within two (2) years as a condition of continued employment.
- Required degrees must have been granted by an accredited school, college or university or one recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center as following acceptable educational practices.
