Regular **Company:** Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center **Department:** Nursing - 7 East **Time Type:** Full time **Weekly Hours:** 40 FTE: 1 **Shift:** Third Shift (United States of America) **Summary:** Performs patient care, health teaching and health counseling in an oncology setting, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or other licensed independent provider; assists in the goal of individualizing the care of patients in an attempt to support the patients to adapt to the disease process and achieve the highest level of wellness; performs routine nursing care procedures; screens, performs venipuncture and monitors plateletpheresis and whole blood donor procedures; maintains donor and product safety ensuring compliance with State and Federal procedure regulations; enhances professional growth and development through participation in educational programs, current literature, in-service meetings and workshops.
Salary range for this position is $54,860 annually - $66,142 annually which consists of a base salary and geographic differential. This includes a comprehensive benefits package. The listed pay range reflects the range of potential compensation for this role. License or permit to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New York.
Education and Experience
Graduation from an accredited practical nursing school's LPN program.
