Job Overview
ROTAK Helicopter Services is looking for a mature, highly organized self-starter to manage our media and communications department. Hybrid work may be negotiated, but work in Anchorage Alaska will be required. Travel will be necessary during projects. The ideal candidate has relevant experience producing media products that stimulate and engage the audience. You will be working in an extremely fast-paced aviation environment where safety is our top priority. The workload is high, but so are the benefits. Responsibilities
- Produce video and still image training products:
Collaborate with department managers to plan, shoot, edit and deliver aviation training videos that relate to safety, operations, maintenance and fleet topics. Travel to field locations to capture content and create realistic, informative training products that engage employees.
- Manage company website:
- Update public-facing website with current images/content
- Develop and manage intranet website/company store content
- Manage all company manuals & forms
- Maintain standardized formatting and currency reviews of all company manuals
- Collaborate with department managers on manual updates
- Edit and proof-read company manuals/forms for content/grammar/punctuation
- Create/build electronic forms
- Manage all social media platforms
- Create/upload stimulating and positive content that drives sales
- Monitor social media for company related content
- Execute targeted strategy for social media growth
- Handle public relations issues that may arise
- Create both print and digital brochures for advertising and customer engagement
- Manage electronic & paper file management system
- Consolidate and organize files
- Follow records retention & disposal timelines
- Destroy obsolete products as necessary
- Manage proprietary information program
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age
- At least 1 year of video production experience
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Adobe Suite Products
- Valid Driver’s License
- U.S. Passport
Potential Pay Bonuses
- Bachelor’s degree in media/advertising/public relations
- Military Public Relations experience
- 5 years of video production experience
- 5 years of web design experience
- Film school graduate
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
