Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be dedicated to providing outstanding care, leading a team of healthcare professionals, and ensuring the well-being of our residents during evening hours. This job is located in our South Building in RCF and AL
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the delivery of care for residents during the evening shift.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and assess residents’ health conditions and document changes accurately.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
- Provide leadership and support to Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and other staff.
- Ensure adherence to facility policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members regarding care plans and health status.
- Respond to emergencies and provide appropriate interventions.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
- Participate in shift change reports and contribute to team meetings.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa.
- Previous experience in a long-term care or senior living facility is preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Compassionate, patient-focused, and reliable.
- Ability to work the evening shift, including weekends and holidays as needed.
