This position is designated as Hybrid - Fully Flexible and expected to work from our World Headquarters office once per month to several times a week. The specific days in the office are determined by managers based on business requirements. Rotary is under the jurisdiction of Illinois employment laws; we require all employees to live within reasonable daily commuting distance to Evanston.

As the Director of Solution Architecture at Rotary International, you will play a pivotal role in steering the organization's technological initiatives. Reporting directly to the CIO, you will oversee a team of enterprise architects and solution architects. You Will Have
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related technical / quantitative field
- 10 years of progressive experience in enterprise and solution architecture, with a proven track record of leadership
- Proficient in rapidly defining target architectures aligned with modern architecture and design best practices
- In-depth knowledge of global data protection requirements, compliance regulations (such as GDPR), and certifications (e.g., SOC-2, ISO 27001)
- Expertise in cloud solutions, data modeling, database concepts, and architectural design
- Strong background in implementing architecture standards and best practices
- Experience building a highly performing team and strong collaborative relationships among stakeholders
- Experience in negotiation and communication at a leadership level
- Strong organizational skills, project and time management skills, and multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
